Privatization and Deregulation: The European Debate

It should be stressed that the papers in this volume give the state of affairs as viewed by the authors in June 1983. In a few cases, adaptations have proved possible so as to include more recent events. Therefore, the reader should not expect a systematic up-to-date comparison of all deregulation and privatization activities in EC countries.
