CV in English

Dr Mihalis Kekelekis obtained a Bachelor degree in Law from the University of Thrace (Greece) in 1993, and a PhD in EC Competition Law from the University of Essex (UK) in 2000.

He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association, Greece, since 1996. He completed a traineeship at the Merger Task Force of DG Competition within the European Commission, and worked as a competition lawyer at international law firms in Brussels and Athens.

In his current position as Senior Lecturer at the European Institute of Public Administration, he regularly advises public authorities across the EU and participates in EU-funded projects as an international/EU legal expert. He is the author of three books on the topics of state aid policy and merger policy, and has also written numerous articles.
